I needed to start something new. When I started my creative journey, I was looking for a way to express myself and found blogging. However, I soon realized that the term ‘blogger’ didn’t quite fit what I was doing. Instead, I prefer the term ‘creator’ as it feels more encompassing and doesn’t limit me to one medium.
Creating content takes a lot of work, but I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. The feeling of receiving my first blog post view and like was exhilarating. And when I made my first sale on Etsy, the ka-ching sound made my heart race with excitement.
But what has impacted me the most is the online creator community. I’ve connected with many other creators, received support and positive feedback, and learned from their creations. Even though we may never meet in person, the support from this community is second to none.
If you’re looking to start something new, my advice is to go for it. Your journey may have ups and downs, but you’ll get to where you want to be. I believe in you!
