Hi, I’m Melissa, and I’m thrilled to tell you more about my journey and the inspiration behind Titles and Jotters. I love creativity, reading, making checklists, and helping others, it can be challenging to keep up with everything. But, like many other moms, I learned that I needed to take care of myself too.
The early days of motherhood can be tough, and I found myself neglecting the things that once brought me joy. The daily grind of taking care of my family became my sole focus, and my passions and hobbies fell by the wayside. But one particularly bad day, I turned to Pinterest to clear my head, and I found my way back to my creative roots.
As I scrolled through my feed, I came across some stunning bullet journal spreads. Looking at those images gave me a sense of peace and calm that I hadn’t felt in a long time. It was then that I realized that I needed to start creating again. So, I dusted off an old notebook and began jotting down ideas.
I made lists of books I wanted to read, DIY projects I wanted to try, and things I wanted to sew. I even tried to make a workout schedule (which didn’t work out too well, but that’s another story!). It felt great to be using my creativity again, and I knew that I needed to share my journey with others.
That’s how Titles and Jotters was born. It’s a space where I can share my own creative ideas and projects while inspiring others to rediscover their passions. I want to offer encouragement and support to anyone who’s ever felt like they’ve lost their creative spark.
Of course, rediscovering my creativity wasn’t an overnight process. It’s been a journey filled with ups and downs, and I’m still learning every day. But that’s the beauty of the creative process. It’s never-ending, and there’s always room to grow and improve.
Through Titles and Jotters, I want to inspire others to embrace their creativity, no matter where they are in life. Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent or a busy professional, there’s always time to make something beautiful.
